About me
Brother Robert is a member of the De La Salle Christian Brothers, a worldwide religious community serving in the field of education. This teaching order sponsors 1100 schools and other educational agencies in 80 countries serving over one million students across elementary, middle, and secondary grades and in higher education.
He has served in Lasallian Catholic schools in New England, New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., and California. He has taught Religion and Social Studies, worked in Campus Ministry, and provided leadership as a Principal, Headmaster, and President, as well as served in governance as a Board member and chair. He has also been part of the leadership team of the Brothers’ Province of Eastern North America with responsibility for school governance services and oversight. He currently continues service as a board member at schools in Los Angeles and Napa, California and provides consulting and training services to schools and other religious entities using or transitioning to Policy Governance.
Brother Robert holds the B.A. from Fordham University in Political Science, the M.A. in Systematic Theology from Boston College, and the M.Ed in Educational Leadership from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. He has done further graduate studies in Theology at the University of Notre Dame and St. Louis University. He also completed the Policy Governance Proficiency Program and received the designation Governance Systems Professional.
He is a native of New York City and currently is back in his hometown as a member of the Brothers’ Community at Manhattan University.
