Jeremiah Dameron (he/him) serves as the Director of Affiliate Services at GOVERN for IMPACT. Through his consulting practice, Jeremiah provides his clients support in the areas of project management, participatory facilitation, and community engagement. He has over two decades of experience working with government, nonprofit, and purpose-driven organizations. Jeremiah has led small, community-driven volunteer and collaborative initiatives, as well as managed large, national pilot programs that brought together representatives from different geographies, sectors, and resources to achieve impact. Jeremiah earned his BA at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI), earned a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business, and earned a certificate in Collective Impact/Community Impact from the Center for Nonprofit Management located in Nashville, TN. Jeremiah currently serves as Board President for Rocket City Pride, an all-volunteer led 501c3 organization working to amplify visibility and awareness in support of the LGBTQ+ communities and their allies. He also serves on the Board of his local PMI Chapter in North Alabama as Vice President of Volunteers, and volunteers with his local United Way to support collective impact initiatives focused on strengthening healthy communities. Jeremiah was born and raised in the southern United States, spent 15 years in New York City, and currently splits his time between Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia, where he spends all his free time spoiling his rescue dogs.
